Successful conversion to once-monthly MIRCERA® can be achieved with consistent haemoglobin (Hb) stability.
Patients maintained on shorter-acting erythropoiesis-stimulating agents (ESAs) can be successfully converted to once-monthly MIRCERA. A stable Hb target range was achieved regardless of previous ESA dosing frequency.1
Consistent haemoglobin stability
Patients converted to MIRCERA showed no significant difference in variability of Hb levels compared with patients remaining on their original ESA therapy (see Figure).1
Mean haemoglobin variation in patients previously maintained on another ESA agent (epoetin alfa or epoetin beta administered one to three times per week) randomised to convert to MIRCERA or continue on epoetin. 1
