MIRCERA achieves target haemoglobin (Hb) levels and provides stable and sustained Hb levels during maintenance therapy with once-monthly dosing.

MIRCERA – through its different receptor interaction and longer half-life – delivers sustained anaemia management.

Achieves target haemoglobin levels
Target Hb levels were achieved in up to 97.5% of patients not on dialysis treated with subcutaneous (SC) MIRCERA (dosed every 2 weeks) and in up to 93.3% of patients on dialysis with intravenous (IV) MIRCERA.1–3

Smooth and steady rise in haemoglobin levels
MIRCERA provides a smooth and steady rise in Hb levels (see Figure), minimising the risk of exceeding a rate of increase greater than 2 g/dL in 1 month.1–3

Mean haemoglobin levels in patients with chronic kidney disease not on dialysis during correction and evaluation phase of treatment with MIRCERA or darbepoetin alfa.1

Stable and sustained haemoglobin levels
MIRCERA IV or SC also provides Hb stability during maintenance therapy with once-monthly dosing.4–11 Stable and sustained Hb levels can be achieved regardless of age, gender, comorbidities, or chronic kidney disease stage.4–11 Once-monthly MIRCERA maintenance therapy keeps average Hb levels within a range of 11–12 g/dL (see Figure).8–11

Mean haemoglobin (Hb) levels in patients receiving once-monthly intravenous (IV) or subcutaneous (SC) MIRCERA.5,7,8–11
